Senior Actuarial Analyst

We are currently looking for a highly motivated, service-oriented professional to fill the new position of Senior Actuarial Analyst. Reporting to the Manager of Pricing, Data & Analytics, you will provide a wide range of Actuarial and Analytics expertise to the organization.

Who You Are

  • University Degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science.
  • Certification in Mathematics, Actuarial, ACAS preferred.
  • 3 years or more of actuarial experience in the P&C sector.
  • A thorough understanding of creating and maintaining actuarial price indications.
  • Functional proficiency with SAS, SQL, Excel.
  • Practical experience with Emblem.
  • Good working knowledge of Guidewire.

Compensation: $87,000 – $117,000 (NOTE: this range includes salary and other non-discretionary compensation)

What You Will Be Doing

  • Work autonomously on challenging and strategic projects in areas such as rate making,
    data science, corporate planning and more.
  • Use your expertise to lead large scale actuarial projects.
  • Perform rate indications.
  • Perform GLM analysis on Personal and Commercial Lines of business with a particular
    focus on Farm Insurance.
  • Process, validate and analyze data to create critical reports that serve business analysis
    and operational needs.
  • Drive innovation with projects at the frontier of actuarial science and data science.
