The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) announced on Wednesday that Trillium Mutual Insurance Company has become the latest company to obtain CSIO certification for Personal Lines eDocs. When eDocs are used to their full potential, sending, receiving, sorting, scanning and destroying paper is no longer necessary, “saving the industry significant amounts of time and money,” CSIO said in a statement. “We are very pleased to take this next step at improving our technology options for our brokers,” said Tracy MacDonald, Trillium Mutual’s vice president of corporate services. “As more companies offer eDocs, the brokers’ processes and workflows change, so it is important for us as a company to be able to support and contribute to our brokers’ efficiencies.”
